SLCU Board of Directors Search

The Soo Line Credit Union Nominating Committee has been appointed to nominate candidates for the following volunteer positions:

• Three candidates for Board of Director positions, each to serve a full, three-year term

The Nominating Committee is currently conducting a search for candidates for the above mentioned volunteer positions.

If you would like to be nominated, please fill out the Expression of Interest Form (36KB, PDF*). Forms are available at all SLCU offices, on our website, or may be requested by e-mail from minneapoliscu@slcu.com. The Nominating Committee will consider Nominees using the following criteria: 

1. Membership in the Soo Line Credit Union.
2. Reputation for integrity, hard work and ethical standards.
3. Ability to exercise independent judgment, willingness to disclose obligations and potential conflicts of interest.
4. Professional/volunteer roles and accomplishments.
5. Educational background.
6. The extent to which the individual would bring relevant skills or experience to the Board.
7. Commitment: *available time, energy and interest. 

*The Board of Directors meet monthly. Board members may be assigned to a committee that also meets once a month. The criteria for selection is not meant to be exhaustive, they are, however, considered key factors.
