Our loan rates are based on the applicant's credit score. The better your credit rating, the lower your loan rate! Our rewards-based lending approach allows us to offer lower interest rates to the majority of our members.

Want to get an even lower loan rate? You can lower your loan rate by .25% when you use automatic payment transfer to pay your loan balance each month. If you are buying a vehicle and make a 10% down payment on the Purchase Price, you'll earn another .25% discount. (Share Secured and CD Secured Loans do not qualify for any discounts.)

Purchase Money Loans

A "Purchase Money Loan" is a loan in which the collateral is the item you are buying with the loan. You can use Purchase Money Loans to buy the following:

• New Vehicles - with less than 12,000 miles (up to 6 years)
• Used Vehicles (up to 5 years)
• Recreational vehicles (up to 4 years)
• Motorcycles
• Boats (up to 7 years)
• ATVs
• Snowmobiles
• Jet Skis
• Motor Homes & Camper Trailers (up to 10 years)
• Computers

• Line of Credit
  Apply today for your Line of Credit and feel secure in the knowledge that your Checking Account is protected from overdrafts. Use the generic Loan Application to apply for a Line of Credit. You can also complete this form online via slcu@home.
    
• Share Secured Loans
  Put your money to work for you, get a Share Secured Loan and use the cash in your savings account to secure the loan. Share Secured loans are available for up to 60 months. Check our Rates page for details.
   
• CD Secured Loans
  CD Secured Loans allow your money to work for you. Let the money in your Certificate of Deposit secure the loan you need for up to 36 months. Check our Rates page for details.
   
• Unsecured Loans
  Use an unsecured loan to make purchases such as furniture, appliances, electronics or personal computers. Unsecured Loans have a maximum term of 60 months. Contact your loan officer to discuss your rewards- based loan rate.
